Last night in the Oleksandrivsk district of Zaporizhzhia, three young men damaged blue and yellow flags that symbolize Ukrainian statehood.

The incident was captured by witnesses, and the footage quickly spread across social media.

Law enforcement conducted a series of operational measures and identified the individuals involved in the crime. They turned out to be three local youths aged 19 and 21.

A criminal case has been opened regarding this incident. The legal qualification is under part 1 of article 338 (Desecration of state symbols) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.
