In Kharkiv, the Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended another suspect linked to Russian military intelligence. This individual was involved in coordinating missile strikes and was awaiting the occupation of the region.
It has been established that the detained person is a 46-year-old unemployed local resident. She came under the radar of Russian security services after calling for an assault and capture of Kharkiv on Telegram channels.
After recruitment, her supervisor provided her with a list of strategic locations to "check" for potential Ukrainian Defense Forces bases.
To accomplish this, the suspect conducted surveillance near the specified sites, monitoring their external perimeters.
If she spotted Ukrainian defenders, she would photograph the potential "target" and mark its coordinates on Google Maps.
Employees of the SBU documented her subversive activities and detained her.
The service also implemented comprehensive measures to secure the locations of the Defense Forces.
During a search, they seized computer equipment and a mobile phone from the detainee, containing evidence of her work for Russia.
Investigators have notified her of suspicion under part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is currently in custody without the right to bail, facing a life sentence with asset confiscation.
The comprehensive measures were conducted by SBU employees in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
