The authorities are considering the issue of informing suspects about the charges against them. They face potential imprisonment.

The incident occurred in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi region at the end of May. It became known yesterday, June 8, after a video was posted on social media by one of the suspects at the crime scene.

Upon initiating a criminal case, the police identified the offenders, who turned out to be two friends aged 16 and 17. The youths were detained in accordance with legal procedures. 

The authorities are currently deciding whether to charge them with torture committed by a group of individuals in advance conspiracy and to choose a preventive measure. 

According to the sanction of part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, this crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years.

The investigation is ongoing under the procedural guidance of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District Prosecutor's Office.
